Our Context

How might our supportive Catholic learning community develop a culture of reflective practices and empowered learners?

This is part of a whole school focus and emerged as part of review discussions around the self-reflection report. From our reflections during our review process, an openness and willingness of staff to develop their own reflection and feedback has become evident. This shift has encouraged leadership to now see an opportunity to develop reflective practices in our learning community and also to create this supportive environment infused by our Catholic faith.

This journey began in 2010.The direction towards contemporary learning has happened because we have had lots of new teacher come into our Corpus Christi community and so we have worked on the process of working towards developing a shared vision.

We see Contemporary Learning as a journey that we are all on together. As Jesus journeyed on the road to Emmaus and the eyes of the disciples were opened we are realising the possibilities that contemporary learning presents us as a community.
